Benjamin Moore paints in Australia

How many times have you looked for inspiration on social media to find that your favourite colours are from Benjamin Moore?  For those readers in North America and the UK and lots of other places around the globe, you have had the joy of working with these beautiful paints and colours for many years.  However, Benjamin Moore is relatively new to the shores of Australia and has not, until recently, been widely available.

So now that Benjamin Moore paints are in Australia I have had the opportunity to find out more about this paint company that I have only seen on Pinterest.  I have spent some time reviewing their fandecks and numerous ranges of paint and have been captivated by some of their beautiful whites, neutrals, greys and colours.

I have lots of inspiration to show you below of some of my favourite Benjamin Moore colours.

Benjamin Moore soft neutrals

Three of my favourite neutrals are Wish, Pale Oak and Seapearl.  For those who love greige, or a natural new beige, these colours will delight.

Benjamin Moore Greys

Stonington Grey is an absolute favourite and is widely popular.  The perfect neutral grey.

Kendall Charcoal is a rich neutral off black that works well to provide a moody interior.  With its green base, this is a very user friendly dark grey.

A favourite Benjamin Moore colour is Greyhound which looks great on joinery.  Notice how the ceiling cornice has been painted the same as the cabinetry?  This is a clever trick to extend the height of the ceiling.

Benjamin Moore Whites

BM Simply White is one of their top sellers in North America. This is a crisp white that has a very subtle yellow undertone which makes it a very welcoming and easy to use white.

BM White Dove is another go-to white which has a touch of grey.  This makes it a contemporary and easy to use white.  It does have a slight creamy undertone but doesn't read at all yellow.

BM Timid White is much creamier.  If you are looking for a lovely warm and welcoming white, this could work for you.

BM Gray Wisp is a gorgeous duck egg blue.  A delicate colour that is perfect for areas where you don't want to use a neutral, but you want a colour that is calming.

BM Boothbay Gray is a delicate green grey.  It contains lots of colour to make a statement, but with enough grey to ensure it is muted and approachable.
