I’m sure many of you, like me, have found yourselves lost in the endless scroll of Instagram and Pinterest, admiring beautiful interiors. This month, I’ve gathered a few standout rooms that caught my eye—spaces that exude style, comfort, and personality. Here’s what makes them so special.
Favourite Kitchen

What I love about this kitchen
- I love the colour of this kitchen. In fact, I love the colours through this entire house. The colours are bold, but are understated too and although green is a cool colour, the overall calmness of the palette is very welcoming.
- I really like the soft rust tones in the carpet runner and flowers which are the perfect complementary colour to the green. When you are putting complementary colours together, remember the 80/20 rule so that one of them is the accent. This has been achieved perfectly here.
- The handmade white Zellige tiles that cover the splashback and the rangehood are the perfect foil to all the colour. They work beautifully with the benchtop and the freshness of the louvre windows.
- It is courageous to add the colour to the walls too, but doesn’t it work brilliantly?

Favourite Living Room
What I love about this Living Room
- This is a great example of a small space done well. The room has character and looks so comfy and welcoming.
- I really like the layers of the window dressings. The plantation shutters would have looked lovely by themselves, but with the addition of the simple curtains, they look even better and the layers add to the cosiness of the space.
- The artworks are stunning and make a great focal point in the space. The black frames work so well with the other black accents in the room.
- A modular sofa makes good use of this space as there are no spare corners.
- I love the built in joinery, rug, cushions and accessories. In fact, there isn’t anything that doesn’t work in this gorgeous living room.

Favourite Dining Room in March
What I love about this dining room
- The colour here is gorgeous. The soft grey green of the kitchen with a darker cool grey blue on the walls is the perfect colour palette for a coastal home.
- With the addition of lots of fresh white, a heavily textured rug and gorgeous floral styling, this dining room is very welcoming. I always look at dining rooms and think would I like to have a long lunch here and the answer to this one is a resounding yes!
- The stunning relaxed style pendant completes the look perfectly.

Favourite bedroom in March
What I love about this bedroom
- The horizontal shiplap panelling on the walls and ceiling really drew my attention to this room. It’s always good when a house has such good bones!
- The next thing I noticed was the soft blue hand painted chest of drawers. Pieces like this are unique and really give the space character.
- Coupled with a very comfy looking chair, soft bed with gorgeous natural bedcovers and lots of great texture in the room, this space really is a winner.

Favourite hallway in March
What I love about this hallway
- I do love a welcoming hallway and this one screams freshness and zing, while also being very practical.
- I love the strong colour palette. The walls are clean and white, but the introduction of the pale blue console table and the deep navy and white cushions really ground the space and make it full of personality.
- What a great hallway for a beach house?
- There is heaps of practicality and everything you need in a hallway; console table with a mirror, a seat for putting on shoes, a runner to catch the dirt, fabulous styling and a basket of fresh towels to take to the beach. Perfect!

Favourite bathroom in March
What I love about this bathroom
- It’s the warm tones that I love here. A bathroom should envelope you and make you feel relaxed and comfortable and this bathroom offers this in spades.
- The all timber vanity is stunning and completed with the concrete basin.
- I love the frameless glass and tap and shower fittings and the warm colour palette hasn’t been spoilt with a crisp white ceiling. A beautiful place to relax in.
